Luis Ibarra Gomez is a proud Mexican immigrant to Canada and a pillar in the Latino community. Founder of Latinos Magazine, a bilingual (English-Spanish) publication with more than a decade of being a key voice for Latinos in the country, he has dedicated his career to communication, inclusion and empowerment of his community.

Trained in communications in Mexico, with diplomas in marketing strategies, project management and journalism. He has been recognized by the Toronto Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and awarded by the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) for his work in multicultural media.

An international speaker and promoter of Canada as an educational destination, he has shared his experience in countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Panama and Ecuador. Luis Ibarra also supports programs for newcomers, mentoring, and social causes such as mental health, equity and social justice.
