Nosso Talho was founded in 1974 by two Portuguese immigrants, Julio Lima and Francisco Silva, Nosso Talho began as a small butcher shop in the heart of “Little Portugal” at 1326 Dundas Street West. Built by and for the community, it was named “O Nosso Talho,” which means “Our Butcher Shop” in Portuguese.
Today, with over five decades of experience, Nosso Talho has grown into a trusted destination for premium meats in Toronto, with three locations: Dundas St W, Bloor St W, and inside Food Basics in Richmond Hill.
