FAQs

Q Do you provide services for couples separating wanting to agree on the terms of separation and children's schedules and parenting arrangments?

That is precisely what I do! I will help you navigate and reach an agreement between you and your spouse in order to move forward after separation. The terms of the agreement are decided by you both.

Q Do you handle financial Matters?

I do. Depending on the complexity of the financials in the relationship I can refer you to more comprehensive experts if the need is required.

Q Is the Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) legally binding?

It is not. it is a voluntary and amicable agreement between the parties. After an agreement (MOU) is drafted, this document can be taken to a lawyer to be converted into a document called a "Separation Agreement".

Q Why a Mediator and not a Lawyer? or the court system?.

The answer is simple: more personable, cost-effective service. The separation agreement is in your hands and the terms are decided by you, not by the lawyer's office or the court's backlogged, lengthy processes.

Q Do you provide couple's counseling services with mediation.

No. For ethical reasons, I do not mix the two services. I can provide individual coaching but if you need couple's counseling you are not yet ready for mediation services. I can refer you to a highly-rated couple's counselor.
